The upcoming Punch Brothers album "Who's Feeling Young Now?" was recorded in Studio D at Blackbird Studios, Nashville, TN. The recordings were made as live performances with all band members playing in the same room facing each other in a circle. Multitrack editing and overdub recording was used to enhance, correct, and compile certain aspects of each master. Each instrument was also individually run through an effected amplifier in isolation to achieve an additional character sound for sonic embellishment. Contrary to some speculation this album was executed by superlative live ensemble performance with visionary studio production.
